Whenever someone asks me “So, what do you do?” It’s always a mouthful. Fairly recently I’ve chosen this one-liner: I’m an art-based spiritual wellness facilitator, printmaker, and land steward. Simple, right?
However, as a community artist I feel like that one-liner does me a disservice because my practice is so encompassing. It’s a spiritual calling, a sum of multiple aspirations, and an umbrella term for my service-oriented heart-set. Granted my studies at MICA widened that umbrella and my experience post-grad deepened its meaning in myriad ways.
But when it comes to alignment, the effects of not being within such creates ripples albeit greater life lessons. For that, I’m excited and inexplicably motivated to generate energy into people and partnerships that truly align with my soul’s purpose as a healer and a free spirit!
